Trader Joe's Favorite Products – Spokane, Washington

Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. I love so many things about this store– their professionalism, the friendliness of the employees, the constant new products, the samples (pre-COVID), the affordable prices, and the food!

From one foodie to another, here is a list of my top favorite Trader Joe’s products that I love and always have on hand. I also shared my 5-year-old son’s top three favorite Trader Joe’s products, as per his request, because he’s a proud foodie just like his mom. I hope you enjoy!

Snacks

Pita Bite Crackers

These crackers are simple but yet so tasty. They are my favorite crackers to dip into a big carton of hummus. They come in multigrain and regular, and I’d say both are equally delicious.

Everything But the Bagel Nut Duo

I buy all of my nuts at Trader Joe’s because I find them to be a great value or what you get. I love snacking on nuts, because they are high in protein and fill me up with just a small amount. These nuts are a new find, and they are so tasty and perfect for when you want something savory. I like the mix of almonds and cashews together, and the seasoning is so good. Warning: They are very addicting!

Dips

Green Goddess Dip

In my attempt to eat healthier this year, I’ve been making a lot of veggie trays. All good veggie trays have a good dip to go with them. This dip is the best! It goes so well with cucumbers, carrots, sugar snap peas, jicama (all of these I usually buy at Trader Joes!), any vegetable really. It is an avocado sour cream based dip with the perfect amount of herbs and creaminess. It makes veggies taste amazing!

Drinks

Spiced Chai

What can I say? I love chai. It’s my go-to comfort drink next to coffee. The spiced chai at Trader Joe’s is delicious. I prefer to drink it hot mixed with oat milk. With an equal proportion of chai to milk ratio, it makes for the perfect comforting drink when it’s freezing outside.

Sparkling Coconut Water with Yuzu

This is a new find for us and I admit, I’m in love. I always keep these on hand to drink with a meal or when I’m fighting cravings in the afternoon and need a small snack. They are delicious and not too sweet. The flavor combination of coconut and yuzu marries very well together.

Seasonings

Garlic Salt Grinder

This is my go-to seasoning for most things that I cook. I use it almost daily. I put it on all of my roasted vegetables and meats. Chop up your favorite combination of vegetables (for me that’s carrots, red potatoes, beets, and onions), douse them with olive oil and grind this garlic salt over the top. Roast them in the oven until nice and tender. It makes vegetables taste so amazing that even your anti-vegetable children will eat it. I promise.

I often make homemade pizza at home. I used to make my own dough but not after discovering Trader Joe’s ready to bake pizza dough. It is so good and so easy to use. You just bring it to room temperature 30 minutes before rolling it out and then it is ready to go. I buy both the plain dough and the garlic herb dough depending on what type of pizza I am making, but mostly, I more often frequent the plain pizza dough.

These have always been a favorite in our house, and they are a must buy when we visit Trader Joe’s. They sell these organic mini peanut butter crackers as well as organic mini cheese crackers. While both are good, my son prefers the peanut butter flavor. They are the perfect afternoon snack with a glass of milk!

Golden Rounds Crackers

We call these, “Healthy Ritz” at our house. They taste and look just like Ritz but are made with healthier ingredients and without high fructose corn syrup which I appreciate as a mom. My son loves these for snacks. I love including them on a charcuterie board with a variety of cheese and meat, with a glass of wine.

Fruit Leather Buttons

These are the best grab-n-go snacks! I always have one of these in my purse for my son when we are out and about. They are made with purely dried fruit and come in these cute little circle shapes that peel off of wax paper. He loves all three flavors– grape mango, strawberry mango, and mango, but strawberry mango is his favorite.
